- Heat oil in pot over medium heat (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, sauté 30 seconds
- Add grated ginger, cook 1 minute until fragrant
- Add chopped onion, cook 2 minutes until softened

- Add water and salt, bring to boil (4 min)
- Add sliced green chilli
- Simmer 8-10 minutes on low heat (flavors develop, soup becomes thick and creamy)
