👩🍳 How to make Gandei Thongba
- Peel ginger, slice thinly (2 min)
- Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
- Add thinly sliced ginger, cook 2 minutes (ginger begins to soften)
- Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add turmeric, stir (30 seconds)
- Add sliced green chilli
- Pour water, add salt
- Bring to boil (5 min)
- Reduce heat to medium-low
- Simmer 10-12 minutes until ginger is very soft
- Stir occasionally
- Serve hot in bowls
