👩🍳 How to make Eromba
- Peel potatoes, cut into chunks (2 min)
- Clean fermented fish pieces, remove scales by scrubbing gently, rinse well in water, drain (2 min)
- Coarsely chop tomatoes (1 min)
- In a pot, combine potatoes, whole green chillies, coarsely chopped onion
- Add cleaned fermented fish pieces
- Pour water and add salt
- Bring to boil over medium heat (5 min)
- Add coarsely chopped tomatoes
- Reduce heat to low-medium
- Simmer 12-15 minutes until potatoes are completely soft
- Remove from heat and cool slightly
- In a bowl, mash potato and fish mixture roughly with potato masher (don't make it completely smooth, some texture should remain)
- Mash tomatoes and fish separately into fine paste
- Combine both, fold gently
- Add salt to taste
- Serve immediately while warm
