👩‍🍳 How to make Chingri Thongba

  1. Clean and pat dry prawns (2 min)
  2. Rinse fermented bamboo shoots, squeeze dry, chop (2 min)
  3. Heat oil in pan over medium-high (1 min)
  4. Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
  5. Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
  6. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  7. Add chopped bamboo shoots, cook 2 minutes (releases tangy aroma)
  8. Add sliced green chilli
  9. Pour water, add salt
  10. Bring to boil (3 min)
  11. Add clean prawns, stir gently
  12. Reduce heat to medium
  13. Simmer 8-10 minutes until prawns are pink and cooked through
  14. Stir occasionally
  15. Serve hot
