👩🍳 How to make Chingri Thongba
- Clean and pat dry prawns (2 min)
- Rinse fermented bamboo shoots, squeeze dry, chop (2 min)
- Heat oil in pan over medium-high (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
- Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
- Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add chopped bamboo shoots, cook 2 minutes (releases tangy aroma)
- Add sliced green chilli
- Pour water, add salt
- Bring to boil (3 min)
- Add clean prawns, stir gently
- Reduce heat to medium
- Simmer 8-10 minutes until prawns are pink and cooked through
- Stir occasionally
- Serve hot
