👩🍳 How to make Besan Laddoo
- In heavy pan, heat 40ml ghee over low-medium heat
- Add besan, roast for 8-10 minutes, stirring constantly (until light golden and fragrant)
- Add crushed cardamom during last 1 minute of roasting
- Add jaggery, stir well (2 min)
- Add grated coconut, mix thoroughly (1 min)
- Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes
- In separate pan, fry cashews and raisins in 20ml ghee until golden (1 min)
- Add fried nuts and raisins to mixture
- Add nutmeg powder
- Mix well
- When cool enough to handle, knead mixture with greased palms
- Roll into balls (about 30g each, size of walnut)
- Place on plate
