👩‍🍳 How to make Beet Paknam

  1. Grate raw beetroot finely (1 min)
  2. Mix rice flour with salt and turmeric (1 min)
  3. Add grated beetroot, minced onion, chilli, coriander (2 min)
  4. Gradually add water (beetroot adds moisture, so water should be added slowly) (1 min)
  5. Let batter rest 2 minutes
  6. Heat tawa to medium, coat with oil
  7. Pour 85ml batter, flatten to 8mm thickness
  8. Cook 6-7 min until bottom turns deep golden-brown (color will be burgundy from beetroot)
  9. Drizzle oil, flip
  10. Cook 4-5 min until other side is light golden
  11. Transfer to plate
