👩‍🍳 How to make Bamboo Shoot Paknam

  1. Rinse and squeeze dry the fermented bamboo shoots, chop finely (2 min)
  2. Mix besan with salt, turmeric, and chilli powder (1 min)
  3. Add chopped soibum, onion, coriander, garlic chives (2 min)
  4. Stir in water gradually to make thick pancake batter (2 min)
  5. Heat thick tawa to medium, coat with oil
  6. Pour 100ml batter, flatten to 8-9mm thickness
  7. Cook 6-7 min until edges turn golden and bottom is firm (gently lift edge to check)
  8. Drizzle 5ml oil around edges, flip
  9. Cook 4-5 min other side until light golden-brown
  10. Cut into triangular pieces
