👩🍳 How to make Aloo Thongba
- Peel potatoes, cube uniformly (2 min)
- Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
- Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
- Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add turmeric, stir (30 seconds)
- Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
- Add sliced green chilli
- Add cubed potatoes, stir gently (1 min)
- Pour water, add salt
- Bring to boil (5 min)
- Reduce heat to medium-low
- Simmer 12-15 minutes until potatoes are completely soft
- Stir occasionally
- Serve hot
