- Heat oil, temper mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chillies.
- Add peanuts and chana dal, toss 1 minute.
- Add puffed rice, turmeric, chilli powder, chaat masala, salt.
- Toss on medium heat 3–4 minutes until heated through and crispy.
- Cool before storing in airtight container.
