- Drain soaked moong dal. Grind with ginger, chillies, and a little water into a smooth thick batter.
- Mix in turmeric, salt, onion, and coriander.
- Heat tawa, grease lightly. Pour batter, spread into thin circles.
- Cook until edges lift (3 minutes). Flip and cook 1 more minute.
- Serve with mint-coriander chutney.
