👩🍳 How to make Idli
- Soak rice and urad dal separately for 6 hours. Grind separately — urad into very fluffy batter, rice into smooth batter. Mix together, add salt, ferment overnight until doubled.
- Pour into greased idli moulds, steam 12–14 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Serve with MP-style sambar and coconut chutney.
