  1. Heat oil (160°C), add cumin seeds (crackle 10 sec).
  2. Add onion, sauté 1.5 min until translucent.
  3. Add turmeric and chili powder, stir 20 sec.
  4. Add tuna cubes, cook 3 min stirring occasionally (fish should turn opaque white).
  5. Add grated coconut, toss for 1 min to warm.
  6. Add curry leaves, cook 15 sec.
  7. Sprinkle lemon juice and salt, toss once. Visual cue: Fish flakes easily, coconut coats mixture, no liquid.
  8. Serve hot.
