👩‍🍳 How to make Pumpkin and Lentil Porridge

  1. Rinse rice and lentil together.
  2. Add to pot with water, turmeric, and pumpkin (medium heat, 180°C).
  3. Bring to boil, reduce to low (150°C), simmer 12 min until rice, lentil, and pumpkin all soft.
  4. Heat oil separately (160°C), fry curry leaves (15 sec).
  5. Add curry leaf oil to porridge, stir gently.
  6. Add chili powder and salt. Visual cue: Creamy porridge, pumpkin pieces soft, orange-yellow color.
  7. Serve warm in bowl.
