👩‍🍳 How to make Pomfret Fry Breakfast

  1. Make paste of turmeric, chili powder, salt, ginger-garlic, and lemon juice.
  2. Apply paste evenly all over fish (inside and outside), let sit 5 min.
  3. Heat oil (180°C) in pan suitable for fish.
  4. Gently place fish in hot oil, fry 2.5-3 min per side (oil should be hot enough to hear sizzle immediately). Visual cue: Exterior golden-brown, crispy at edges, fish flakes easily.
  5. Add curry leaves during last 30 sec of cooking.
  6. Drain on paper.
  7. Serve hot with farata or rice.
