👩‍🍳 How to make Fish Pickle

  1. Heat oil (160°C), add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds (crackle 20 sec).
  2. Add curry leaves, fry 15 sec.
  3. Add ginger and garlic, cook 1 min.
  4. Add turmeric and chili powder, stir 20 sec.
  5. Add fish pieces, cook 2 min stirring gently (fish should turn opaque).
  6. Add fenugreek leaves, cook 1 min.
  7. Add lemon juice, salt, asafoetida, stir well.
  8. Remove from heat, cool.
  9. Serve as condiment with rice or bread.
