👩‍🍳 How to make Date and Banana Porridge

  1. Rinse rice, add to pot with water (medium-high heat, 180°C).
  2. Bring to boil, reduce to low (150°C), simmer 10 min until rice soft and porridge-like.
  3. Add mashed banana, stir gently for 1 min.
  4. Add chopped dates and jaggery, stir until dissolved (1 min, sweet aroma).
  5. Add coconut milk, stir gently (1 min, creamy).
  6. Crush cardamom, sprinkle over. Add salt. Visual cue: Creamy consistency, banana and date visible, sweet fruity aroma.
  7. Serve warm in bowl.
