👩🍳 How to make Date and Banana Porridge
- Rinse rice, add to pot with water (medium-high heat, 180°C).
- Bring to boil, reduce to low (150°C), simmer 10 min until rice soft and porridge-like.
- Add mashed banana, stir gently for 1 min.
- Add chopped dates and jaggery, stir until dissolved (1 min, sweet aroma).
- Add coconut milk, stir gently (1 min, creamy).
- Crush cardamom, sprinkle over. Add salt. Visual cue: Creamy consistency, banana and date visible, sweet fruity aroma.
- Serve warm in bowl.
