  1. Mix grated coconut, jaggery (powdered), green chili, ginger, cardamom, salt.
  2. Add gram flour and rice flour, mix well.
  3. Add water to bind (mixture should hold shape).
  4. Divide into 12-14 portions, shape into round balls.
  5. Heat oil to 170°C.
  6. Fry balls in batches, 3-4 min per batch, rolling occasionally until golden-brown. Visual cue: Golden exterior, crispy, no greasy feel.
  7. Drain on paper.
  8. Serve hot or at room temperature.
