👩‍🍳 How to make Yak Meat and Kidney Bean Stew

  1. Heat oil in large pot to 75°C
  2. Add onion; fry 5 mins until golden (75°C)
  3. Add ginger, garlic; cook 2 mins
  4. Add meat; cook 8-10 mins until browned
  5. Add turmeric, garam masala; cook 1 min
  6. Add tomatoes; cook 3-4 mins until broken down
  7. Pour water; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
  8. Add kidney beans
  9. Reduce heat; cover; simmer 30-35 mins
  10. Meat should be very tender
  11. Season with salt and pepper
  12. Simmer final 2-3 mins
  13. Garnish with cilantro
  14. Serve hot (above 70°C)
