👩‍🍳 How to make Walnut and Barley Porridge

  1. Toast walnuts in a dry pan for 2-3 mins at 60°C until fragrant; set aside
  2. Heat milk to 70°C in a pot (do not boil)
  3. Add cooked barley to warm milk
  4. Stir in butter, salt, and optional cinnamon
  5. Cook together for 3-4 mins on low heat
  6. Add honey once mixture cools slightly below 60°C
  7. Mix in toasted walnuts
  8. Serve immediately while warm (60-65°C)
