👩🍳 How to make Walnut and Barley Porridge
- Toast walnuts in a dry pan for 2-3 mins at 60°C until fragrant; set aside
- Heat milk to 70°C in a pot (do not boil)
- Add cooked barley to warm milk
- Stir in butter, salt, and optional cinnamon
- Cook together for 3-4 mins on low heat
- Add honey once mixture cools slightly below 60°C
- Mix in toasted walnuts
- Serve immediately while warm (60-65°C)
