👩‍🍳 How to make Tsampa with Yak Butter Tea

  1. Brew strong black tea (150ml) in a traditional butter tea churn
  2. Heat yak milk to 65°C until steam rises (5 mins)
  3. Mix 1 tbsp yak butter with 1 tsp salt; churn into tea until frothy (10 mins)
  4. In a bowl, pour warm butter tea into tsampa flour, stirring constantly
  5. Mix until paste-like consistency (thick porridge)
  6. Serve immediately while hot (above 60°C)
  7. Optional: drizzle honey on top
