👩🍳 How to make Thukpa with Yak Meat
- In a heavy pot, heat 1 tbsp butter over medium-high (70°C)
- Add onion, ginger, garlic; fry 3-4 mins until golden (80°C)
- Add diced yak meat; cook 8-10 mins, stirring frequently until browned (90°C)
- Add turmeric, garam masala; cook 1-2 mins
- Pour in broth; bring to rolling boil (100°C, 5 mins)
- Reduce heat to medium; add vegetables
- Simmer covered for 25-30 mins until meat is very tender
- Add noodles; stir to separate
- Cook 4-5 mins until noodles are tender but retain slight bite
- Season with salt and pepper
- Stir in remaining butter
- Serve hot (above 70°C), garnished with cilantro
