👩🍳 How to make Skyur
- Heat oil and butter in a large pot to 70°C
- Add onion, ginger; sauté 2-3 mins until golden (80°C)
- Add root vegetables; cook 3-4 mins (75°C)
- Pour in broth; bring to rolling boil (100°C, 3 mins)
- Slowly sprinkle barley flour while stirring constantly to avoid lumps
- Add turmeric; simmer on medium heat for 20-25 mins
- Stir frequently; mixture should thicken into porridge-like consistency
- Season with salt and pepper
- Cook until vegetables are soft and flour is fully cooked (test: no grainy texture)
- Serve hot (above 60°C)
