👩🍳 How to make Pea and Barley Porridge with Yak Cheese
- Rinse peas and barley separately
- Bring water to boil (100°C, 2 mins)
- Add peas first; cook for 5 mins
- Add barley; reduce heat to medium
- Simmer for 25-30 mins until both are very soft
- Stir in butter and turmeric
- Fold in grated yak cheese
- Cook another 2-3 mins, stirring gently
- Season with salt and pepper
- Garnish with cilantro
- Serve hot (above 60°C)
