👩‍🍳 How to make Pea and Barley Porridge with Yak Cheese

  1. Rinse peas and barley separately
  2. Bring water to boil (100°C, 2 mins)
  3. Add peas first; cook for 5 mins
  4. Add barley; reduce heat to medium
  5. Simmer for 25-30 mins until both are very soft
  6. Stir in butter and turmeric
  7. Fold in grated yak cheese
  8. Cook another 2-3 mins, stirring gently
  9. Season with salt and pepper
  10. Garnish with cilantro
  11. Serve hot (above 60°C)
