👩‍🍳 How to make Mixed Vegetable and Legume Porridge

  1. Rinse lentils separately; drain
  2. Heat butter in pot to 65°C
  3. Add cumin seeds; sizzle 30 seconds
  4. Add onion; fry 2 mins
  5. Add both lentils; stir 1-2 mins
  6. Pour water; add turmeric; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
  7. Add vegetables; reduce heat to low-medium
  8. Cook covered for 18-20 mins
  9. Stir occasionally; lentils should completely break down
  10. Vegetables should be very soft
  11. Season with salt
  12. Cook another 2 mins
  13. Serve hot (above 60°C)
