👩🍳 How to make Mixed Vegetable and Legume Porridge
- Rinse lentils separately; drain
- Heat butter in pot to 65°C
- Add cumin seeds; sizzle 30 seconds
- Add onion; fry 2 mins
- Add both lentils; stir 1-2 mins
- Pour water; add turmeric; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
- Add vegetables; reduce heat to low-medium
- Cook covered for 18-20 mins
- Stir occasionally; lentils should completely break down
- Vegetables should be very soft
- Season with salt
- Cook another 2 mins
- Serve hot (above 60°C)
