👩🍳 How to make Lentil and Spinach Dal
- Rinse lentils; drain
- Heat butter in pot to 65°C
- Add onion, ginger; fry 2-3 mins
- Add lentils; stir 1 min
- Pour water; add turmeric; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
- Reduce heat; simmer partially covered for 15-18 mins
- Lentils should be very soft and breaking down
- Stir in spinach; cook 3-4 mins until wilted
- Lentils should create creamy dal
- Season with salt
- Serve hot (above 65°C), garnished with cilantro
