👩🍳 How to make Gur Gur Chai
- Brew tea: boil water (100°C, 1 min)
- Add tea leaves; steep 3-4 mins until dark brown/black
- Strain tea into butter churn (dasher) or blender
- Heat milk to 65°C separately
- Add yak butter and salt to hot tea
- If using churn (traditional): pour milk and tea mixture into churn
- Churn vigorously for 3-5 mins with dasher until frothy
- If using blender: combine tea, butter, salt, milk; blend until frothy
- Serve immediately in cups (should be hot, 65-70°C, with foam on top)
