👩‍🍳 How to make Finger Millet

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat water to 60°C
  2. Slowly sprinkle ragi flour while stirring constantly to avoid lumps
  3. Keep stirring for 3-4 mins as mixture heats
  4. Heat milk separately to 70°C
  5. Once flour is cooked (no raw taste, should smell toasted), pour in warm milk gradually
  6. Add butter, salt, optional nutmeg; stir well
  7. Cook on low heat for 5 mins, stirring occasionally
  8. Add jaggery once mixture cools slightly below 60°C
  9. Serve warm (55-60°C)
