👩🍳 How to make Dried Meat and Barley Cakes
- Shred dried meat very finely; pound if necessary
- Combine barley flour and salt in bowl
- Add shredded meat; mix well
- Rub in yak butter until mixture resembles crumbs
- Add optional chili powder
- Gradually add water, mixing until soft dough forms (should be slightly sticky)
- Knead gently for 2-3 mins
- Divide into 6 equal balls
- Flatten each into ¼ inch thick patty
- Heat griddle to 70°C; lightly oil
- Cook patties 3-4 mins per side until golden and slightly crispy
- Serve warm
