👩‍🍳 How to make Dried Meat and Barley Cakes

  1. Shred dried meat very finely; pound if necessary
  2. Combine barley flour and salt in bowl
  3. Add shredded meat; mix well
  4. Rub in yak butter until mixture resembles crumbs
  5. Add optional chili powder
  6. Gradually add water, mixing until soft dough forms (should be slightly sticky)
  7. Knead gently for 2-3 mins
  8. Divide into 6 equal balls
  9. Flatten each into ¼ inch thick patty
  10. Heat griddle to 70°C; lightly oil
  11. Cook patties 3-4 mins per side until golden and slightly crispy
  12. Serve warm
