👩‍🍳 How to make Chickpea and Barley Stew

  1. Heat butter in large pot to 65°C
  2. Add onion, ginger; fry 3-4 mins
  3. Add barley; stir 1-2 mins
  4. Add turmeric, cumin; cook 1 min
  5. Pour broth; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
  6. Add chickpeas
  7. Reduce heat; cover
  8. Simmer 28-30 mins
  9. Barley should be tender, chickpeas soft
  10. Season with salt and pepper
  11. Serve hot (above 65°C), garnished with cilantro
