👩🍳 How to make Barley Porridge with Dried Apricots
- Rinse barley under cold water; drain
- Bring water to boil in a pot (100°C, 2 mins)
- Add barley; simmer on low heat for 25-30 mins until soft
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking; grains should be tender
- Heat yak milk separately to 70°C (do not boil)
- Pour warm milk into cooked barley
- Add chopped apricots, honey, butter
- Cook together for 5-7 mins, stirring gently
- Season with salt
- Serve hot (60-70°C)
