👩‍🍳 How to make Barley and Pumpkin Stew

  1. Heat butter and oil in pot to 65°C
  2. Add onion, ginger; fry 3-4 mins
  3. Add barley; stir 1-2 mins
  4. Add pumpkin; stir gently 2 mins
  5. Add turmeric, cumin
  6. Pour broth; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
  7. Add salt; reduce heat to medium-low
  8. Cover; simmer for 30-35 mins
  9. Barley should be tender
  10. Pumpkin should be soft and partially broken down
  11. Season with salt and pepper
  12. Serve hot (above 65°C), garnished with cilantro
