👩🍳 How to make Barley and Pumpkin Stew
- Heat butter and oil in pot to 65°C
- Add onion, ginger; fry 3-4 mins
- Add barley; stir 1-2 mins
- Add pumpkin; stir gently 2 mins
- Add turmeric, cumin
- Pour broth; bring to boil (100°C, 3 mins)
- Add salt; reduce heat to medium-low
- Cover; simmer for 30-35 mins
- Barley should be tender
- Pumpkin should be soft and partially broken down
- Season with salt and pepper
- Serve hot (above 65°C), garnished with cilantro
