👩🍳 How to make Barley and Mushroom Broth
- Cook barley in water for 20-25 mins until soft; drain and set aside
- Heat butter in pot to 70°C
- Add onion, ginger; fry 2-3 mins until fragrant
- Add mushrooms; cook 3-4 mins until they release moisture (75°C)
- Pour in broth; bring to simmer (90°C)
- Add cooked barley and dried herbs
- Simmer for 10 mins to blend flavors
- Season with salt and pepper
- Serve hot (above 65°C)
