👩‍🍳 How to make Barley and Mushroom Broth

  1. Cook barley in water for 20-25 mins until soft; drain and set aside
  2. Heat butter in pot to 70°C
  3. Add onion, ginger; fry 2-3 mins until fragrant
  4. Add mushrooms; cook 3-4 mins until they release moisture (75°C)
  5. Pour in broth; bring to simmer (90°C)
  6. Add cooked barley and dried herbs
  7. Simmer for 10 mins to blend flavors
  8. Season with salt and pepper
  9. Serve hot (above 65°C)
