👩🍳 How to make Ada Pradhaman
- Prepare ada (if making fresh, 15 mins): Make rice flour dough with jaggery filling, wrap in banana leaf, steam until cooked. Or use store-bought ada.
- Fry nuts (2 mins, high heat): Heat 2 tbsp ghee, fry cashews until golden. Remove. Fry raisins. Remove. Visual: nuts golden and puffed.
- Soak ada (3 mins, no heat): Chop cooked ada into small pieces, soak in 1/2 cup thin coconut milk. Visual: ada softens, absorbs milk.
- Combine (8 mins, low heat): Add soaked ada to jaggery milk, heat gently through. Visual: ada pieces coated in jaggery milk.
- Finish (3 mins, low heat): Add thick coconut milk, remaining ghee, cardamom powder, salt. Heat gently through. Do NOT boil.
- Garnish (1 min, no heat): Top with fried cashews and raisins.
