👩‍🍳 How to make Semolina Halwa

  1. Heat ghee in heavy pan, add semolina, stir continuously 4-5 min until light golden and fragrant.
  2. In separate pot, heat water.
  3. Dissolve jaggery in hot water.
  4. Slowly pour jaggery water into semolina while stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  5. Cook 6-7 min until water is absorbed.
  6. Add cardamom, cashew, raisins, saffron.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Visual cue: halwa should be granular, light golden, nuts golden-brown, no dry spots.
