👩‍🍳 How to make Sandesh

  1. Heat ghee, add kneaded panir, cook over low heat 6-8 min stirring constantly until it becomes granular and slightly darker.
  2. Add jaggery, stir well until melted and mixed.
  3. Add cardamom, almonds, pistachios, salt.
  4. Cook 2 more min.
  5. Cool slightly.
  6. Shape into balls or barfi pieces.
  7. Cool completely on tray.
  8. Visual cue: sandesh should be golden-brown, firm yet moist, nuts visible, sweet cardamom aroma.
