👩‍🍳 How to make Rice with Dal and Vegetable

  1. Rinse rice, add water and salt, cook 15 min.
  2. For dal: heat mustard oil, add cumin, onion, fry 2 min.
  3. Add ginger and chillies, cook 1 min.
  4. Add dal, water, turmeric, salt.
  5. Cook 12 min until dal is soft.
  6. For greens: heat mustard oil, add cumin and chillies, cook 20 sec.
  7. Add greens, ginger, salt.
  8. Cook 5 min until soft.
  9. Serve rice with dal and greens on side.
  10. Visual cue: rice should be fluffy, dal creamy, greens tender and dark green.
