👩‍🍳 How to make Kicdi

  1. Rinse rice and dal separately.
  2. Heat ghee, add cumin, cook 20 sec.
  3. Add ginger and chillies, cook 1 min.
  4. Add rice and dal, stir 2 min coating with ghee.
  5. Pour water and salt.
  6. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat, cook 15 min.
  7. Rest 5 min.
  8. Fluff and garnish with coriander.
  9. Visual cue: rice and dal should be soft, mushy, creamy consistency, cumin seeds visible.
