👩🍳 How to make Kicdi
- Rinse rice and dal separately.
- Heat ghee, add cumin, cook 20 sec.
- Add ginger and chillies, cook 1 min.
- Add rice and dal, stir 2 min coating with ghee.
- Pour water and salt.
- Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat, cook 15 min.
- Rest 5 min.
- Fluff and garnish with coriander.
- Visual cue: rice and dal should be soft, mushy, creamy consistency, cumin seeds visible.
