👩🍳 How to make Halwa
- Heat ghee in heavy pan, add semolina, stir continuously 4-5 min until light golden and fragrant.
- In separate pot, heat water with jaggery until jaggery dissolves.
- Slowly pour jaggery water into semolina while stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Cook 6-7 min until water is absorbed and halwa leaves the sides of pan.
- Add cardamom, cashew, raisins, almonds, salt.
- Mix well.
- Visual cue: halwa should be granular, light golden, ghee visible on surface, nuts golden-brown and visible.
