👩‍🍳 How to make Halwa

  1. Heat ghee in heavy pan, add semolina, stir continuously 4-5 min until light golden and fragrant.
  2. In separate pot, heat water with jaggery until jaggery dissolves.
  3. Slowly pour jaggery water into semolina while stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  4. Cook 6-7 min until water is absorbed and halwa leaves the sides of pan.
  5. Add cardamom, cashew, raisins, almonds, salt.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Visual cue: halwa should be granular, light golden, ghee visible on surface, nuts golden-brown and visible.
