- Heat ghee, add jaggery, stir over medium heat until caramelized and golden (8-10 min).
- Add peanuts, cardamom, salt.
- Mix quickly but thoroughly.
- Pour onto oiled tray, cool 5 min.
- Cut with oiled knife into pieces.
- Cool completely.
- Visual cue: chikki should be golden-brown, crispy, peanuts visible, breaks cleanly into pieces.
