👩‍🍳 How to make Ghee Rice

  1. Rinse rice until water runs clear.
  2. Heat ghee in heavy-bottomed pot, add cumin, bay leaves, cloves.
  3. Cook 30 sec until fragrant.
  4. Add rice, stir for 2 min coating with ghee.
  5. Add water and salt.
  6. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low.
  7. Cover tightly, cook 15 min without opening lid.
  8. Turn off heat, let rest 5 min covered.
  9. Fluff with fork.
  10. Visual cue: rice grains should be separate, shiny, each grain distinct.
