👩‍🍳 How to make Chicken Biryani

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, ginger, chillies, salt, chilli powder for 30 min.
  2. Boil rice with water, bay leaf, half-cooked.
  3. Layer: cooked rice, marinated chicken, fried onions, coriander, mint.
  4. Repeat.
  5. Dot with ghee.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and lid.
  7. Cook on high heat 3 min until steam forms.
  8. Reduce to low heat, cook 20 min.
  9. Turn off, let rest 10 min without opening.
  10. Visual cue: rice should be fluffy, chicken tender, fried onions golden, mint and coriander visible, each grain separate.
