👩‍🍳 How to make Barley Porridge

  1. Heat ghee, add drained barley, stir 2 min.
  2. Add milk and salt, bring to boil.
  3. Reduce to low heat, cover, simmer 25 min until barley is very soft.
  4. Add jaggery, stir until dissolved.
  5. Add cardamom, cashew, raisins.
  6. Cook 2 more min.
  7. Visual cue: porridge should be creamy, barley grains soft, golden color, nuts golden and visible.
