👩‍🍳 How to make Wazwan Feast Morning Rice

  1. Rinse rice, soak 20 min
  2. Heat 2 tbsp ghee, fry onions 3 min until soft and translucent
  3. Add ginger, green chillies, fry 1 min (aroma releases)
  4. Add crushed whole spices, fry 1 min until fragrant
  5. Add ground spices (cumin, coriander, garam masala), stir 20 sec
  6. Add drained rice, stir-fry 2 min to coat with ghee
  7. Pour 2.5 cups water, add salt, bring to boil
  8. Fold in yogurt carefully, cover tightly
  9. Reduce heat to low, cook 20 min until water absorbs
  10. Rest 5 min covered
  11. Heat 1 tbsp ghee, roast cashews 1.5 min until golden, add almonds 1 min, add raisins
  12. Fluff rice with fork gently
  13. Mix in roasted nuts and mint leaves
