👩🍳 How to make Easy Chickpea Curry
- Heat oil on high heat (45 seconds).
- Add mustard seeds. Wait for crackling (10 seconds).
- Add curry leaves. Fry 3 seconds.
- Add onion. Fry 6-8 minutes until golden-brown.
- Add ginger and green chili. Fry 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, and red chili powder. Fry 30 seconds.
- Add tomato. Cook 3 minutes until soft and releases liquid.
- Add chickpeas. Stir well and cook 3 minutes on medium heat.
- Add water and salt. Bring to boil (2 minutes).
- Reduce heat to low. Cover partially. Cook 8-10 minutes.
- Uncover. Add jaggery and lemon juice. Stir.
- If thick, add more water (50ml). Taste and adjust.
- Add fresh coriander. Stir well.
