👩🍳 How to make Besan Laddu
- Heat 100ml ghee in pan on low heat (30 seconds).
- Add besan gradually, stirring to avoid lumps.
- Roast on low heat 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Besan should turn light golden, become fluffy, smell toasty.
- Add remaining ghee (50ml). Mix well.
- Add grated jaggery. Stir on low heat until jaggery melts and combines with besan (3-4 minutes).
- Add cardamom, almonds, and raisins. Mix well.
- Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes.
- Grease palms with ghee. Take 25g mixture. Roll into smooth balls.
- Optionally garnish each ball with pistachio sliver.
- Place on parchment paper. Cool completely (30 minutes).
- Besan: Golden, fluffy, toasted aroma
- Jaggery: Fully melted, combined evenly
- Mixture: Holds together, forms balls easily
