👩‍🍳 How to make Besan Laddu

  1. Heat 100ml ghee in pan on low heat (30 seconds).
  2. Add besan gradually, stirring to avoid lumps.
  3. Roast on low heat 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Besan should turn light golden, become fluffy, smell toasty.
  5. Add remaining ghee (50ml). Mix well.
  6. Add grated jaggery. Stir on low heat until jaggery melts and combines with besan (3-4 minutes).
  7. Add cardamom, almonds, and raisins. Mix well.
  8. Remove from heat. Cool 5 minutes.
  9. Grease palms with ghee. Take 25g mixture. Roll into smooth balls.
  10. Optionally garnish each ball with pistachio sliver.
  11. Place on parchment paper. Cool completely (30 minutes).
  12. Besan: Golden, fluffy, toasted aroma
  13. Jaggery: Fully melted, combined evenly
  14. Mixture: Holds together, forms balls easily
