- Add coconut (3 mins, low heat): Add grated coconut to tempering. Sauté 2–3 mins until coconut is fragrant and lightly toasted but not browned.
- Combine (3 mins, low heat): Add cooked rice, salt. Toss gently using two forks to keep rice fluffy and evenly coated. Heat through 2 mins.
