👩‍🍳 How to make Goan Tendli Bhaji

  1. Heat oil in pan over medium flame
  2. Add cumin seeds, let pop (15 seconds)
  3. Add ginger, garlic, cook 1 min
  4. Add onion, sauté 3-4 min until soft
  5. Add tomato, cook 2 min
  6. Sprinkle chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, black pepper
  7. Stir well, cook 1 min
  8. Add tendli pieces, mix well (2 min)
  9. Pour in water, curry leaves, salt
  10. Cover, simmer 12-15 min until tendli is tender but not mushy
  11. Stir in coconut milk slowly (2 min)
  12. Cook uncovered 5-8 min until sauce thickens
  13. Add grated coconut if using
  14. Adjust salt and heat level
