- Make dough (5 mins, no heat + hot water): Mix ragi flour and salt. Add hot water gradually while stirring — dough will be slightly sticky. Add coconut oil. Knead briefly.
- Pat rotis (5 mins, no heat): Moisten hands. Pat dough directly on hot tawa or on damp cloth, making thin 5-inch rounds.
- Serve: With coconut chutney for savoury or jaggery for sweet breakfast.
