👩🍳 How to make Upma
- Heat oil to 160°C; add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal (40 sec).
- Add curry leaves, green chillies, ginger; sauté 20 sec.
- Add onions; fry until soft (1.5 min, 170°C).
- Add carrots, peas; fry 1 min.
- Add peanuts, cashews; fry 1 min.
- Pour water; bring to boil; add salt, turmeric.
- Slowly add semolina, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Reduce heat to low; cook 6 min until liquid absorbed.
- Color golden with vegetable bits, texture fluffy and light, aroma aromatic.
