👩‍🍳 How to make Lauki Halwa

  1. Heat ghee to 150°C; add almonds, cashews; fry until golden (1 min).
  2. Remove; set aside.
  3. Add grated gourd to same ghee; cook 10 min, stirring often, until moisture evaporates.
  4. Add jaggery, milk; cook 5 min until jaggery dissolves.
  5. Add cardamom, nutmeg; mix well.
  6. Add fried nuts; cook 1 min.
  7. Halwa should be semi-solid when warm.
  8. Color golden-brown, texture pudding-like, aroma sweet-nutty.
